Credit Unions Come Together for Women Build Day Bringing a Brighter Future for a Southern Arizona Community

On March 18, 2026, Global Women’s Leadership Network – Southern Arizona Sister Society members joined forces with Habitat for Humanity for Women Build Wednesday.

The team rolled up their sleeves to help create safe, affordable housing for families in need, while demonstrating the amazing impact women can have when they work together. Representatives from Pima Federal Credit Union, Hughes Federal Credit Union, Vantage West Credit Union, Tucson Federal Credit Union, Pyramid Federal Credit Union, and DDJ Myers partnered to build a brighter future for the Southern Arizona community, one home at a time. This event was a tangible intersection of credit union collaboration and Women’s History Month celebration of women’s role in shaping a sustainable future.

The Southern Arizona Sister Society is focusing on the theme of BUILDING for its programming, including upcoming lunch & learn and social hour events, throughout 2026. What an amazing start as the team worked side-by-side to construct affordable housing for those in need in the community they serve.
