On Sept. 12, Clarity Credit Union hosted its 25th Annual Credit Unions For Kids (CU4Kids) Charity Golf Classic at Warm Springs Golf Course in Boise, Idaho. As one of the only credit union-hosted charity golf tournaments in Southwest Idaho, this event once again garnered strong community support from local credit unions and vendors to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
This year’s tournament brought together over 130 golfers and more than 30 sponsors, helping Clarity raise more than $50,000 for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise, which cares for more than 90,000 children every year. The tournament drew broad participation from credit unions across the region, including Beehive Credit Union, Horizon Credit Union, Pioneer Federal Credit Union, TruGrocer Federal Credit Union, Frontier Credit Union, ICCU, Mountain America Credit Union, CapEd Credit Union, Westmark Credit Union, CCCU, Rogue Credit Union, P1FCU, and GoWest Credit Union Association.
All proceeds raised from the tournament directly benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, serving children suffering from childhood diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.
“This year’s CU4Kids Charity Golf Classic marks 25 consecutive years that Clarity Credit Union, tournament sponsors, and supporting organizations have joined forces to raise funds to help children in need, demonstrating the credit union philosophy of People Helping People”, said Wendy Edwards, CEO of Clarity Credit Union. “We proudly share this incredible milestone with our fellow credit unions and supporting organizations. It’s a testament that after 25 years, we are still stronger when we join forces and work together.”
