Atlantic City FCU Unveils New Name: Grand Altitude — Built to Help Wyoming Reach New Financial Heights

With more than 60 years of service to Wyoming communities, Atlantic City Federal Credit Union announced its new name, Grand Altitude Federal Credit Union, on June 16. This rebrand marks an evolution that reflects the credit union’s statewide service area and its vision to elevate the financial success of its members.

“Grand” evokes a sense of greatness, excellence, and high-quality service, and “Altitude” ties into Wyoming’s mountainous terrain, the spirit of adventure, and the idea of reaching new financial heights.

Born out of the Atlantic City Iron Mine, Grand Altitude has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Wyoming’s Fremont County since 1964. In 2021, the credit union expanded its charter to serve the entire state of Wyoming. Its mission is to make banking simple, smart, and seamless – to nurture a forward-thinking community that banks effortlessly.

“From day one, we’ve been driven by resilience, resourcefulness, and a drive to move forward,” said Brian Rohrbacher, Grand Altitude’s President and CEO. “It’s a name that honors our past and pushes us to keep reaching higher.”

While the name is changing, everything members love about the credit union remains the same. Members will continue to receive the same trusted service from the same great team, with the same mission, values, and commitment to members’ financial success.
