Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) is proud to participate as a sponsor in the 4th annual Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade on March 2. This community event, produced by Friends of Pima Animal Care Center (PACC), brings together pet lovers, families, and local businesses to celebrate Tucson’s vibrant pet community while supporting animal welfare programs.
As the official PACC Foster Sponsor this year, TFCU will have a team of employees and their fur-friends walking the parade route. After the parade, the credit union will have an information table where they will be promoting pet Insurance services, a new account incentive ($50 for new members after 90 days when they use a promo code), information about products and services, and fun giveaways for attendees.
Additionally, TFCU will be running a social media raffle. Anyone who takes a photo of the TFCU tent or with an employee and tags the credit union on their Instagram story (@tucsonfcu) will be entered into a raffle for a $100 PetSmart gift card.
As part of its commitment to supporting local pet owners, TFCU is also highlighting its affordable pet insurance offerings through the Tucson Federal Insurance Agency. Pet insurance can help cover unexpected vet bills, offering peace of mind and financial security for families and their furry friends.
“TFCU is deeply invested in the well-being of our community and that includes the pets who bring us so much joy,” said TFCU CEO Matthew Gaspari. “We’re excited to be part of this event and encourage everyone to come out and celebrate with us”
The Pets of Pima Parade will feature an exciting procession of animals of all shapes and sizes – dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and even farm animals –alongside bands, floats, costumed characters, and entertainers. The Friends of PACC Festival will feature live entertainment, a vendor fair, fun activities for people and pets alike, and of course, plenty of opportunities to adopt a pet.
Proceeds will benefit lifesaving programs at PACC, the largest and only open-admission shelter in Pima County.
