Fibre Federal Credit Union & TLC’s Communities First Program Supports Local Colleges and Hospitals

Fibre Federal Credit Union and TLC announced the continuation of its Communities First Program, a multi-year sponsorship for community colleges and hospitals within the 11 Washington and Oregon counties it serves. The credit union prioritizes supporting educational and healthcare-related services throughout its communities, and that mission developed into the Communities First Program in 2018.
Since the program started in 2018, the credit union has donated $238,000 to Communities First recipients, including 13 hospital foundations and seven community college foundations. Donation funds support supplemental meal programs, student scholarships, child literacy programs, and a variety of other community-centered initiatives.

- Lower Columbia College Foundation – $17,500
- Ocean Beach Hospital Foundation – $14,000
- Oregon Coast Community College Foundation – $17,500
- Pacific Communities Health District Foundation – $14,000
- PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation – $4,000
- PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center Foundation – $35,000
- Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation – $14,000
- Providence Southwest Washington Foundation – $4,000
- Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital Foundation – $14,000
