Simpson Hired as Numerica Chief Retail and Digital Officer

Travis Simpson has been hired as chief retail and digital officer at Numerica Credit Union, based in Spokane Valley, Washington.

In this role, he will oversee the credit union’s branch and member service teams, financial products and services, and community development.

Simpson brings more than 25 years of financial, retail, and executive experience. Most recently, he served as BECU’s senior vice president of retail, wealth, indirect, and contact centers.

“Travis brings experience and a fresh perspective to our team,” said Numerica president and CEO Carla Cicero. “He has immersed himself in Numerica’s culture and values and is already living out our core purpose to enhance lives, fulfill dreams, and build communities. I’m confident his collaborative style will help both employees and members experience the Numerica difference.”

During his decades of financial industry leadership, Simpson has overseen improving member experience, increasing net incomes, and surpassing key performance metrics. In addition to BECU, Simpson has also held senior leadership posts at Bank of America and Target.
