Pima Federal Credit Union Raises Record-Breaking $110,000 for Local Nonprofits

The 13th Annual Pima Federal Golf Classic raised a record-breaking $110,000 to support two Arizona nonprofit organizations, TROT (Therapeutic Riding of Tucson) and StandUp for Kids. The milestone surpasses the previous fundraising record of $81,000 and represents the most successful Golf Classic in the event’s 13-year history.

Held at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz., Pima Federal Credit Union‘s annual tournament brought together business leaders, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and golfers who share a common goal: making a meaningful difference in the communities Pima Federal serves. Through tournament participation, sponsorships, raffles, auctions, and generous donations, the event generated funding that will directly support the life-changing work of both nonprofit organizations.

Each organization will receive $55,000 to further its mission. TROT provides equine-assisted services that improve the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with disabilities and other special circumstances. StandUp for Kids works to end the cycle of youth homelessness by providing outreach, support, and life-saving resources to vulnerable children and young adults.

“This year’s Golf Classic is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose,” said Pima Federal President and CEO Eric Renaud. “Raising a record-breaking $110,000 is an incredible achievement, but what matters most is the impact these funds will have on the lives of local children, families, and individuals served by TROT and StandUp for Kids. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community partners whose generosity continues to make this event possible.”

Since its inception in 2013, the Pima Federal Golf Classic has become one of Southern Arizona’s premier charitable golf tournaments, raising $897,000 for Arizona nonprofit organizations. The annual event reflects Pima Federal’s longstanding commitment to strengthening communities through philanthropy, volunteerism, and meaningful local partnerships.

Pima Federal extends its sincere appreciation to every sponsor, golfer, volunteer, donor, media partner, and community supporter who helped make this year’s event a record-breaking success. Together, their generosity is creating lasting change throughout Arizona.
