First Credit Union Opens Queen Creek Branch to Meet Community’s Financial Needs

First Credit Union will officially open the doors to its newest branch in Queen Creek, Ariz., on April 24. The new location marks another milestone for the credit union, which has proudly served Arizona communities since 1929 as the state’s very first credit union.

As one of Arizona’s fastest-growing communities, Queen Creek continues to welcome new families, businesses, and opportunities. The new branch reflects First Credit Union’s continued commitment to providing relationship-driven financial services where they’re needed most — along with financial education and personalized guidance to help residents thrive.

Supporting a Growing Community

From first-time homebuyers and small business owners to families planning for the future, Queen Creek residents have evolving financial needs. The new branch is designed to meet those needs with practical tools, personalized service, and ongoing financial education.

“Our goal is to provide the tools, guidance, and support our members need to feel confident about their financial journey — today and for years to come,” said Jay Curtis, CEO of First Credit Union.

The branch offers a full range of services, including checking and savings accounts, auto and home loans, credit-building tools, and business banking support.

A Community-Centered Celebration

The grand opening event is free and open to the public, with a family-friendly atmosphere designed to bring the community together.

The morning will feature:

  • A ceremonial ribbon cutting with the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, First Credit Union CEO Jay Curtis, and Arizona State Senator Jake Hoffman
  • Live music from radio station Hot 97.5
  • Crafts and activities for kids
  • Giveaways, raffles, and offerings from community partners
  • A special appearance from a favorite local mascot
  • Opportunities to meet the First Credit Union team and open a new account

It’s more than a ribbon cutting — it’s a celebration of partnership and community growth.
