Tucson Federal Credit Union to Celebrate Grand Opening of Rita Ranch Branch

Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) held a grand opening celebration on Nov. 15 for its newest branch in Rita Ranch, reinforcing its commitment to serving the local community with innovative financial services and personalized member support.

The Rita Ranch branch is TFCU’s first branch in this area, expanding the credit union’s reach across Tucson and bringing member-focused banking to thousands of households in the city’s growing southeast corridor.

“Our new Rita Ranch branch is a testament to our dedication to meeting members where they are,” said Matthew Gaspari, TFCU President and CEO. “We’re excited to meet our Rita Ranch neighbors and look forward to building lasting relationships.”

The branch is part of TFCU’s broader expansion strategy across Southern Arizona, following the reopening of its Midtown branch and an in-store Oro Valley location at the Walmart Supercenter earlier this year.

TFCU partnered with Financial Supermarkets Inc., a credit-union specialty organization specializing in financial institution design, to deliver a consistent and welcoming member experience across all locations.

The new branch manager, Makayla Dehne, has been with TFCU for seven years and began her TFCU career as a teller and most recently served as an In-Branch Trainer at the East Branch before being promoted to Rita Ranch Branch Manager.

To celebrate the opening, TFCU offered an exclusive $250 bonus deposit to new members in the 85707, 85747, and 85641 zip codes who opened a savings and checking account, activated a debit card, and set up online banking.

The grand opening celebration featured raffle giveaways, exclusive incentives, and a chance to meet the full Rita Ranch team. TFCU also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the new branch through a series of social media reels, including an introduction from Dehne and fun features with the Member Advocates.
