Washington credit union leaders continued their 2025 focus on deepening connections with legislators throughout the state by providing in-depth perspective on policy and celebrating legislative leadership to protect credit unions.
Credit union leaders participated in multiple engagements with legislators over the past week, including meeting with Sen. Claudia Kauffman, Chair of the Senate Business, Financial Services, and Trade Committee, for a deep dive discussion on a wide range of issues impacting credit unions while highlighting many unique ways credit unions are helping Washingtonians.
Credit union leaders also met in Spokane to celebrate Sen. Marcus Riccelli’s leadership to protect credit unions. Together they shared their appreciation for his significant work to protect the ability of credit unions to serve their members and discussed policy priorities for the next legislative session.
