Tucson Federal Credit Union Champions Cultural Connection at Local Greek Festival

Tucson Federal Credit Union announced its sponsorship of the Tucson Greek Festival, the city’s one-day celebration of Hellenic food, music, dance, and culture taking place Friday, Nov. 14, in downtown Tucson.

As an Olympus Level Community Sponsor, TFCU’s support helps make the festival more accessible to the community and includes complimentary VIP and general admission tickets that will be shared with members, partners, and local nonprofits. Community sponsors at this level add towards the contribution benefiting the Southern Arizona Hellenic Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Krystal Adams, Chief Operating Officer, Tucson Federal Credit Union. “We’re proud to support a beloved cultural tradition that brings families together downtown and showcases the diversity that makes Southern Arizona special.”

The Tucson Greek Festival has been a multi-decade Tucson tradition — originating at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, where it was held annually dating back to 1976, and it has historically drawn thousands of visitors. After a five-year pause tied to the pandemic and venue changes, the festival returns downtown in 2025 with an expanded, one-night format designed to welcome even more of Southern Arizona to celebrate Greek culture.

This celebration reflects a vibrant Greek presence in the region, supported by local institutions like St. Demetrios and the Hellenic Cultural Foundation, and connected to a broader Arizona community with an estimated 25,000 residents of Greek ancestry.

This year’s festival will feature live performances by Greek-American singer Evangelia, youth dance groups, authentic Greek cuisine, and family-friendly experiences, with both General Admission and VIP ticket options available.

TFCU’s sponsorship underscores the credit union’s mission to empower people and improve lives — supporting neighborhood events, cultural organizations, and educational initiatives across Southern Arizona.
