Mid Oregon Credit Union Honored with a 2025 Top Workplaces Award
Posted by Alyse Knudsen on October 8, 2025

Mid Oregon Credit Union has been awarded a 2025 Top Workplaces honor by The Oregonian Top Workplaces. This is the fourth consecutive year the financial institution has received this award.
The Top Workplaces list is based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 24 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including values, interdepartmental communication, inclusion, execution, and well-being — just to name a few. In 2025, workers praised great benefits, great work-life balance, and the chance to follow an inspirational leader or be part of a great team as the major core competencies of employers who stand out.
“Receiving the Top Workplaces award for four consecutive years is a true testament to the culture we have built together at Mid Oregon,” said Kari Joel, Vice President of Human Resources. “This honor reflects the dedication of every team member, as it is based solely on their feedback regarding what makes Mid Oregon not just a great place to work, but a place where they can grow and succeed. This healthy culture enables us to provide exceptional service to our members daily.”
Of the 115 companies named over three size categories in Oregon and Southwest Washington, Mid Oregon was ranked number 18 in the category of Midsize Employers, those with 100-499 employees. Out of those 56 companies, Mid Oregon was the top-ranking financial institution. Mid Oregon was also one of only four financial institutions to receive recognition in any size category.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage’s CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
