Sound Credit Union Awards $20,000 to 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Sound Credit Union, which serves over 175,000 members in Washington, recently honored the recipients of its 2025 scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. This year, Sound granted a total of $20,000 to 13 students who were selected based on their academic achievements, community involvement, and commitment to furthering their education.

The following students were awarded a Sound scholarship and plan to attend these colleges/universities in the fall:

Annika Ewing, Washington State University
Jonah Bergerson, University of the Pacific
Brock Blakley, Arizona State University
Gracie Tomlinson, Utah Valley University
Kamea Herrera, Coe College
Margarita Aguado, University of Washington
Ruby Pearson, Pierce College
Hannah Quiton, Pacific Lutheran University
Leiana Pablo, University of Washington
Victoria Street, University of Washington
Joshua Schwalier, Washington State University
Jett Reed, Gonzaga University
Caleb Carbonell, Northwest University

“I’m truly honored to have been awarded this scholarship,” said Jonah Bergerson. “This opportunity means a great deal to me, and it will be a tremendous help as I pursue my college education.”
