Sound Credit Union Awards $20,000 to 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Sound Credit Union, which serves over 175,000 members in Washington, recently honored the recipients of its 2025 scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. This year, Sound granted a total of $20,000 to 13 students who were selected based on their academic achievements, community involvement, and commitment to furthering their education.
The following students were awarded a Sound scholarship and plan to attend these colleges/universities in the fall:
- Annika Ewing, Washington State University
- Jonah Bergerson, University of the Pacific
- Brock Blakley, Arizona State University
- Gracie Tomlinson, Utah Valley University
- Kamea Herrera, Coe College
- Margarita Aguado, University of Washington
- Ruby Pearson, Pierce College
- Hannah Quiton, Pacific Lutheran University
- Leiana Pablo, University of Washington
- Victoria Street, University of Washington
- Joshua Schwalier, Washington State University
- Jett Reed, Gonzaga University
- Caleb Carbonell, Northwest University
“I’m truly honored to have been awarded this scholarship,” said Jonah Bergerson. “This opportunity means a great deal to me, and it will be a tremendous help as I pursue my college education.”
