One of our own is running for office! Jason Anaya-Ledeboer for Thornton, CO City Council.

It is incredibly important to have elected officials who understand the credit union difference and the issues that are important to our industry – and there is no better way to do that than to have credit union professionals become elected officials.
It takes hard work, dedication, and courage to run for office, and we could not be prouder that Jason Anaya-Ledeboer has decided to step-up to run for Thornton City Council.
Jason works at Premier Members Credit Union and would bring a wealth of financial knowledge and deep community ties to the position, if elected.
City Council Seats are important roles for credit unions, as council reps will be able to weigh in on and have their voices heard on future legislation — for example, a future Public Funds bill — and it would be incredibly valuable to have a strong credit union advocate in this seat.
I encourage you to join me and GoWest in helping to support Jason in what looks to be a tight election by sending him a contribution. The maximum donation is $400, but any amount helps, and you can donate online through his website at www.jasonforthornton.com.
