Credit Union West Hosts Grand Opening for New Biltmore Branch in Phoenix

Credit Union West celebrated its new Biltmore branch in Phoenix with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 5. The event brought together members of the community including the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, service members from Luke Air Force Base, and local non-profit organizations that partner with the credit union.

The event featured food, drinks, raffle prizes, giveaways, and speeches from Credit Union West’s President and CEO Karen Roch and the founder of the local, non-profit Kitchen on the Street, Lisa Scarpinato.

As part of the celebration of the new branch, Credit Union West will be offering a bonus donation to Kitchen on the Street. For a limited time, new members who open a Heritage High-Yield or Loyalty Rewards checking account at the Biltmore branch will receive $150, plus Credit Union West will donate $50 to Kitchen on the Street.

Kitchen on the Street is a Phoenix non-profit working to end childhood hunger by providing weekend meals, nutritional education, and community support to local children. The Biltmore branch will also be holding a food drive for Kitchen on the Street through Dec. 3.

“Serving our members and our community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Roch. “We are excited to have a larger footprint in Phoenix to better serve our members, and we’re proud to partner with Kitchen on the Street to better serve the community.”

Nestled in the heart of Uptown Phoenix, the trendy and modern branch occupies the ground floor of the Trend 51 apartment building and has been designed with members in mind with features like a large service area with a walk-up ATM. It is conveniently located near shopping and retail, minutes from the Camelback Colonnade and Town and Country shopping centers.
