The signature event featured more than 70 speakers, 50 content sessions, 120 booths at the Solutions Tradeshow, renowned keynotes, a charitable auction, the GoWest Awards Dinner and Gala, and many exciting new and interactive ways to engage with peers.
Each day, keynote speakers took to the MAXX mainstage to bring insightful messages that informed, inspired, and ignited passion for the Credit Union Movement.
Troy Stang
On Monday, GoWest President and CEO Troy Stang welcomed advocates, credit union professionals, and those serving credit unions to MAXX 2024. He highlighted the incredible impact credit unions and cooperations have for nearly 18 million members, especially in current economic conditions. “These Rocky Mountains can be a symbol of the hopes and dreams of credit union members. And with determination, hope, the right tools and courage, even the highest peaks have proven to be achievable. These Rockies are no different than the paths our members must climb in their lives.”

John Harwood
Tuesday brought an engaging conversation about politics with John Harwood, who has three decades of experience covering the White House, national politics, and the economy for leading news organizations such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and MSNBC. Americans have seen razor-thin presidential contests in the past, but not quite like this one, shared Harwood.

Zack Kass
Wednesday kicked off with Keynote Speaker Zack Kass who provided a roadmap that charted the trajectory of AI from its humble beginnings in ChatGPT to its future potential. Kass has long had a front-row seat to the rapidly evolving AI renaissance, having spent 14 years in the field, including as the former Head of Go-to-Market for OpenAI, which introduced the world to ChatGPT. “The hard part of this renaissance won’t be figuring out what machines can do but what we want them to do,” Kass shared.

Wednesday afternoon brought an inspiring keynote from Chaunte Lowe, a world-class track and field athlete with four Olympics, three World Championships, and 12 National Championship titles under her belt – and a cancer survivor. “We have to be bold and brave enough to define what success means to us, and rewrite our story,” Lowe said. “Hope is the fuel that moves us forward even when we want to stop.”
