MAXX 2024 YP Leads Are Announced!

The best of the best have been rounded up for the 2024 YP Leads! 

Eighteen passionate credit union young professionals have been named 2024 YP Leads, earning their ticket to MAXX 2024 in October. This year’s cohort was carefully selected among many qualified candidates with representation from across Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. 

“The young leaders in this year’s cohort have extraordinary passion for the Credit Union Movement and great desire to grow as professionals in the industry,” shared Lexy Strong, CU Communities Manager at GoWest. “I am excited to see and be a part of journeys as they develop into influential and impactful credit union leaders.” 

Since 2017, the YP Leads program has provided select credit union employees with complimentary registration to the MAXX, the association’s annual signature event, where they join a growing network of future credit union leaders. 

YP Leads not only attend MAXX, but they benefit from a yearlong mentorship commitment made by the assigned YP Lead Mentor. Through a process that is collaboratively designed by the mentor and mentee during MAXX, a plan, and goals for the year will be developed to help the YP Lead in their role in advancing the Credit Union Movement.

MAXX 2024 is happening in Denver on Oct. 13-16 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. This year promises to be an exciting gathering full of learning, networking, and collaborating for the six-state GoWest community. The YP Leads will have the opportunity to attend general and breakout sessions, network with their peers across the region, and meet with their mentors.
