Numerica Credit Union, headquartered in Washington’s Spokane Valley, was named the 2024 Champion of Diversity on June 26 at the Tri-Cities Diversity Summit. The event was hosted by the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Numerica was recognized for exemplifying diversity and inclusion in three areas: organizational culture, products and services, and community outreach. Examples included the credit union’s diverse leadership team and products designed to help underserved community members build credit. In addition, Numerica invested more than $1 million in 2023 to organizations that uplift children and families.
“At Numerica, we believe that diversity builds stronger foundations that allow every team member to succeed,” said Andy Stirling, Numerica Senior Vice President of Retail. “Our strides toward a more inclusive workplace are guided by the belief that every voice matters. This award is not just a celebration of our achievements, but a reminder to never stop working toward a more equitable world.”
Numerica serves the financial needs of more than 170,000 members. It invests earnings toward enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities in Eastern Washington, Central Washington and North Idaho. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in the state of Washington or North Idaho.
