Horizon Credit Union Expands Senior Management Team

To keep up with the continued growth of the organization, Horizon Credit Union in Spokane Valley, Washington, is proud to announce the expansion of its senior management team and the promotion of three directors to vice president.
Rhonda Brady, formerly director of enterprise applications and business intelligence, has been promoted to vice president of enterprise data, solutions, and project management. She now oversees project and vendor management along with enterprise data, solution innovation, data governance, and enterprise applications. She aims to gain a deep understanding of the current processes, practices, and accomplishments of her new departments to best support their projects and goals. Brady has been a part of Horizon since 2018. Brady is based at Horizon’s Spokane administration office.
Shanon Rieman, previously director of learning and organizational development, has been promoted to vice president of people strategy. Rieman will oversee talent and recruiting, learning and development, and internal communications. She will continue to help shape Horizon’s talent hiring strategy and employee development, and she will have a greater focus on people and succession planning. Rieman joined the credit union in 2010 and has worked in credit unions for over 20 years. She worked at multiple regional credit unions before joining Horizon. Rieman is based at Horizon’s Spokane administration office.
Tami Lawrence, formerly director of accounting, has been promoted to vice president of accounting. With the expansion of her role, she will gain extended oversight into the organization’s accounting strategy and execution. She will help prepare Horizon for future growth by planning objectives, systems, and processes with senior management and collaborating with other departments. Lawrence joined Horizon in May 2022. Previously, she worked at Global Credit Union for five years and has been a controller for financial institutions since 2008. Lawrence is based at Horizon’s Spokane administration office.
