Senior Digital Channel Specialist
Job Description:
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Procedures
Responsible for final loan review and analysis of loan packages and documents to ensure compliance with policies and procedures prior to being submitted for funding.
- Conducts the final review, for purposes of drawing the legal documents. Issues such as legal descriptions, impounds, taxes, title, etc. are of the utmost concern.
- Recalculates the closing figures within the LOS for accuracy. In instances where closing figures are materially different than the original Loan Estimate, ensure compliance with re-disclosure requirements.
- Works with the Settlement Agent to complete an accurate Closing Disclosure. Completes and provides final documents for the members to sign.
- Compares all final, signed documents to the system information and loan file data. Verifies all documents are correct and signed and clears all funding/underwriting conditions.
- Approves loan for funding, disburses the funds.
- Identify issues that have arisen subsequent to the Underwriter’s review.
- Determine that rate locks and investor approvals have not expired and are accurate.
- Insures FHA and VA loans.
- Run Fraud Guard on all files.
- Packages and ships complete files to the applicable Investors FNMA/FHA/VA and follow up on any missing information they may require.
- Tracks and follows up on all trailing documents, providing to investors when received.
Member Service & Team Focus
Responsible for regular communication with members and team for status updates throughout the closing process.
- Liaison between members and servicing.
- Works with our servicing company, providing any documentation required for original escrow setup, missing documentation and final Notes and Deeds of Trust for payoff.
- Review and explain conditions to Processors when needed.
- Identify and inform the Mortgage Operations Manager of potential or newly identified risk trends or factors.

The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $25.82-$36.15. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s experience, education, and skill level.

EXPERTISE YOU NEED
Education & Experience
Minimum of two years of real estate mortgage experience in Quality Control, Processing and/or Real Estate closing positions or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related work experience may substitute for education.
Capabilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be well organized, have an affinity for service and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Must have knowledge and understanding of Conforming, Non-confirming, and Government 1st Trust Deed Loan products as well as maintain current knowledge for regulatory and investor compliance.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
High level of technology and experience in loan origination systems, automated underwriting engines and Microsoft Office products
Ability to operate general office machines and equipment such as: Personal computer, loan system, keyboard/typewriters, photocopier, fax machine, postage machine, microfilmer, Nautilus and printers
