A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IN-BRANCH CONTACT CENTER SPECIALIST

As a Contact Center Specialist / Teller, you will be critical part of our member service team that provides an excellent member experience for our members in person at our NE Portland branch, over the phone, and online. You will be reporting to the Member Service Operations Manager and working closely with other member facing departments. Your responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming members and providing helpful information concerning credit union products and services
  • Assisting members and potential members with their requests; answering questions about products and services and resolving problems that are within your authority to resolve.
  • Providing back-up assistance in branch as needed.
  • Assuring that member information and documents are maintained and stored appropriately

CONTACT CENTER SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience
  • Strong multitasking abilities with a proven capacity to shift focus quickly and efficiently across diverse responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills; courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
  • The ability to de-escalate upset members/customers
