Jordan Beyer
AVP, Grassroots Engagement, GoWest Credit Union Association
Jordan plays a key role in working with lobbyists in engaging credit union advocates for Credit Union Days at the Capitol, the America’s Credit Unions Governmental Affairs Conference, and Hike the Hills. He is skilled in creating effective programs to support advocacy efforts and help tell the credit union’s story to elected officials.
Before his association role, Jordan worked for BECU as a member consultant, in branch leadership, in back office support roles and in learning and development. He is a skilled facilitator who is passionate about continuing education and the role it plays in professional development. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Life Pacific University and his master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh.
Chris Kemm
VP, Political Affairs, GoWest Credit Union Association
Chris Kemm is a seasoned political strategist with over 27 years of experience in public policy, grassroots advocacy, and legislative affairs. As AVP of Political Affairs at GoWest Credit Union Association, he leads advocacy engagement across six states, helping credit unions advance legislative and regulatory priorities through strategic outreach and political mobilization.
A Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), Chris previously served as National Legislative and Political Representative for AFGE, AFL-CIO, and held leadership roles with the Denver Area Labor Federation and Colorado AFL-CIO. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, recognized with the Navy Achievement Medal and Vice President’s Gold Hammer Award.
Chris is also a dedicated community leader and coach, serving as Head Girls Basketball Coach at Skyview High School and holding leadership roles with CHSCA, Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports, and the Adams County Veterans Commission. He was named the 2024 Ceal Barry Colorado Women’s Coach of the Year and has led teams to 22 league titles in basketball and track and field.
