Federal Credit Union Exemption
Federal Credit Union employees attending the Association’s annual MAXX convention are entitled to hotel occupancy tax exemption. To ensure tax exemption availability, a federal credit union must be making payment by direct billing (check or invoice) or via credit card issued in the credit union’s name, whereas billing is directly to the credit union and not billed to the employee and charges reimbursed to the employee. To assist with adherence to this policy, as well as confirm acknowledgment of tax exemption availability, guests requesting tax exemption should complete the attached NCUA Letter of Tax Exemption.
For questions or more information, please contact the Director of Events, Amanda Macias.
