Personify Leadership® is a practical, research-grounded development experience designed to help credit unions cultivate effective leaders at every level.
At the heart of every credit union is a leader who sets vision, shapes culture, and makes decisive calls in moments that matter. Personify Leadership starts with the belief that leadership isn’t reserved for a select few — it’s something we all have within us. You don’t learn to be a leader; you learn to access and apply the talent you already have.
The program’s unique body-focused model breaks leadership into eight core categories, each linked to a specific skill or competency. This structure makes the learning easy to grasp, apply, and retain back on the job.
Delivered as an engaging, two-day, high-intensity program led by an expert facilitator, Personify Leadership combines interactive, experiential activities with cutting-edge research in leadership development. Gerry Singleton
President and CEO of Montana’s Credit Unions (MCU)
Gerry Singleton brings extensive experience and passion for the Credit Union Movement into his role as President and CEO of Montana’s Credit Unions (MCU). Gerry plans and directs the financial, operating, and human resources for the Montana Credit Union League, MCUCD, and the League Service Group. He also serves as the chair of the MCUL Group Benefits Trust and oversees its operation. Under Gerry’s leadership, MCU will remain highly effective in delivering quality advocacy, programs, and services across the state.
Prior to joining MCU, Gerry spent almost 25 years as the VP of Credit Union System Relations at CUNA Mutual Group, working closely alongside leagues, CUNA, and other key system partners to build a thriving credit union system. During his time in the Movement, he has served on various national boards and advisory groups, including the National Credit Union Foundation, the CUNA Mutual Foundation, as well as the CUFinHealth Fund Advisory Board, and as an active Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), with designations for CaribDE, Africa DE, and iCUDE.
Gerry is a long-time resident of Belgrade, Montana, who loves spending time with his family, hiking, and connecting to his community.
