Stacie Wyss-Schoenborn, president and CEO of Central Willamette Credit Union in Albany, Oregon, has been appointed to serve on the Business Oregon Commission. Nominated by Governor Tina Kotek last year, the Oregon State Senate officially voted on her confirmation on February 14.
STCU gives back to local communities with FAFSA assistance and grants to nonprofits
Spokane-based STCU marked the start of the new year with a number of initiatives aimed at supporting the communities it serves. To help ensure that local high school students maximize their future career options, the credit union is assisting families with completing FAFSA forms. And to honor its employees’ passion for community service, STCU is providing a record number of grants to nonprofit organizations where employees volunteer.

Unitus Community Credit Union Opens New Branch at Cedar Hills Crossing
Unitus Community Credit Union, based out of Portland, Oregon, opened a new branch in the Cedar Hills Crossing Shopping Center, located at 3215 SW Cedar Hills Blvd., Beaverton, OR 97005. This new branch is a relocation of the Unitus Beaverton Branch on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, which closed permanently on February 9.
