This year we have been working hard to gather the best of the best on industry-tailored topics you care about most. To ensure that MAXX is truly an experience for everyone in the credit union community, we will have over 70 speakers, 50+ content sessions, 120 booths at the Solutions Tradeshow, renowned keynotes, an 80’s prom-themed CU4Kids charitable auction, the GoWest Awards Dinner and Gala, and tons of exciting new and interactive ways to engage with your peers throughout the six state GoWest region.


Conference Session Types for 2023

GENERAL SESSION: (15 – 90 min) Large session that defines the theme of the conference while getting people excited about the event.  
KEYNOTE: (45 – 90 min) Main stage speaker/ Topic of broad interest to the entire conference audience.  
BREAKOUT SESSION: (60 – 90 min) Educational session with an expert/ more technical in content.   
ROUNDTABLE: (60 – 120 min) Facilitated discussions where attendees discuss topics.  Participants could visit 1+ discussions during the session. 
PANEL DISCUSSION: (60 – 90 min) Moderator-led session with panelists (generally three to five people) who share their knowledge on a topic.  
MASTER CLASS: (120 – 180 min) A more intense, advanced learning opportunity for seasoned professionals or those with a specialized focus. 
BEYOND THE PODIUM: (60 – 90 min) Session starts with a presentation, then shifts to participation from the audience. The presenter will facilitate while attendees answer questions and provide comments.
COMMON GROUND DISCUSSION: (30 – 90 min)
Informal group gathering to discuss set topics or network with a common professional link, interest, or area of experience. 
SPECIAL MEETING: (120 – 180 min)
These meeting types are invite-only and will be sent out prior to your arrival at MAXX. 


CPE Credit Will Be Available

CPEGoWest Credit Union Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.
