Job Description:

Credit Union 1, headquartered in Anchorage Alaska is Alaska’s second-largest credit union with branch offices located throughout the state, is in search of a member-focused, community-centric leader to lead the credit union as the President/CEO.

The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, inspirational, and committed to the Credit Union 1 mission to lead change and uplift others by offering a full suite of innovative services while being an active leader in the community. The CEO is responsible for the strategic vision and leadership of the Credit Union and in consultation with the Board of Directors, develops a strong vision throughout the organization, and develops strategies and goals to achieve it. The President will be the Credit Union’s chief advocate and will maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders in the community and beyond. The President is responsible for the oversight of budgeting, planning, and financial management of the credit union.

An advanced degree in business, economics, or finance is preferred. Ten to fifteen years of progressive executive management experience within a financial institution exceeding $1 billion is preferred.
