Job Description:

CapEd’s Personal Financial Representative (PFR) improves members financial well-being through an interactive, consultative interview process that deepens relationships. Provides financial direction, assisting members in meeting their goals with the appropriate products and/or services. Prepares appropriate documentation related to lending, new and existing account openings and file maintenance while adhering to Capital Educators Federal Credit Union policy and Federal regulations. Processes all transactions necessary as needed and engages with members to provide an outstanding sales and service experience.

 

Pay: $21.53/HR

 

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Educates regarding products and/or services to existing and potential members through relationship building interactions that occur but not limited to; in-person, phone or written correspondence. Has full understanding and adherence to the prescribed sales flow process by learning new selling techniques and provides additional information and referrals to CapEd partners or departments. Aligns self and team to attain Credit Union expectations. Meets or exceed minimum production goals.
  • Processes an array of basic member and guest member account transactions including routine checking and savings deposits and withdrawals; receiving payments; and selling a variety of negotiable instruments.
  • Maintains strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls. Keeps updated and correct tracking sheet documentation.
  • Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job-related duties as assigned.
