A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR

As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will be critical part of our Lending team and the long-term success of the Credit Union. You will be reporting to the Mortgage Sales Manager and working closely with our Mortgage Loan Officers and members. Your responsibilities include:

  • Initial review of new applications, generating loan disclosures, and verifying TRID/regulatory compliance
  • Reviewing credit reports, ordering, and tracking appraisals, title and various verifications
  • Coordinating between vendors, borrowers, and loan officers to ensure a timely loan closing and positive member experience
  • Closing duties: including funding loans and shipping/delivery to investors
  • Post-closing duties: tracking receipt of trailing documents and imaging the final loan file

This position reports in-person to the Erin Way branch in NE Portland.

MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of current processing experience
  • Complete understanding of the Mortgage Loan industry, including current working knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines
  • English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred

MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR WORK SCHEDULE

This position usually works Monday – Friday, between 8am-5pm.
