Member Specialist
Location: Port Townsend, WA
Grade: 6
Pay: $21.39+/hr DOE

Kitsap Credit Union has an opening for a Member Specialist at our Port Townsend location. If you have experience in lending, a passion for mortgages, and love to support members with their financial goals, this could be the role for you. You will be a part of a cohesive, tenured team that is supportive, communicative, and collaborative. The team is empowered to reach their branch goals for growth and success. You will be encouraged to offer feedback and make suggestions to help improve the member experience. You will find great variety in your role as you rotate through positions and responsibilities including front line, loans, and new accounts with the team. Each day holds new challenges and opportunities to learn and problem solve.

Some of What You Will Do

• Teller transactions- withdrawals and deposits.
• Build member experience and loyalty through member relationship building.
• Open new accounts and process loan applications.
• Suggest products and services to meet members’ lifestyle needs.

What You’ll Bring

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1 year financial institution experience- teller and new accounts
• 1 year of consumer lending (Personal, Auto and Credit Cards) experience
• A desire to build relationships to recommend appropriate products and services.
• Ability to obtain NMLS within 30 days.

Schedule: Availability Monday – Saturday
