We’re growing here at Kitsap Credit Union and hiring Member Representatives for various locations in Kitsap, Pierce, and Jefferson Counties including Puyallup, Gig Harbor, Port Orchard, Belfair, Bremerton, East Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo, Kingston, Port Hadlock, and Port Townsend. You may be involved with processing loan applications and opening new accounts.  You will have opportunities every day to make connections and deepen relationships with our members, educating them on how our products and services can support their financial goals.

 

Typical Job Duties

  • Loans
    • Process loan applications for consumer lending products, Home Equity, and Mortgage loans
  • Sales
    • Suggest products and services to meet members’ lifestyle needs including loans, and lines of credit
    • Build market position by locating, developing, and closing business relationships
  • Customer Service
    • Walk members through how to use our self-service platforms
    • Build member experience and loyalty through relationship building
  • Tellering
    • Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, new accounts and their financial needs

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • One plus years financial institution experience – teller and new accounts
  • One plus years of consumer lending (Personal, Auto and Credit Cards) experience
  • Ability to obtain NMLS within 30 days
