Job Description:

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union in NE Portland is seeking a Member Relationship Officer to assist members in the branch through all service delivery channels, with an emphasis on new accounts and loans, member education, and referrals. This position is a great fit for someone with financial institution and/or lending experience, who enjoys building lasting relationships with members.

This position earns a highly competitive rate of $22-$26. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEMBER RELATIONSHIP OFFICER

As a Member Relationship Officer (MRO) you will be a critical part of our Operations team. You will be reporting to the Member Service Operations Manager, supporting both the Teller and Contact Center teams, and working with new and current members. Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide exemplary service to members over phone, text, chat, and eService channels.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and proactively educate members on Credit Union products and services.
  • Assist members with loan applications in-branch.
  • Process new memberships and account maintenance.
  • Assist members with online/mobile banking and provide technical assistance.
  • As needed help in branch members with financial transactions to support the cash team with coverage for lunches, breaks, and time off


MEMBER RELATIONSHIP OFFICER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience
  • Strong communication skills; courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
  • Strong computer skills; the ability to learn new software programs, and to type quickly and accurately

MEMBER RELATIONSHIP OFFICER WORK SCHEDULE

This position usually works Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm. NO weekends or evenings.
