CapEd’s Consumer Loan Underwriter will analyze consumer loan requests and make credit decisions based on lending policy.  Handles all aspects of the lending process, including reviewing reports and rate sheets, preparing loan documents for completeness and accuracy, and analyzing loan applicants. 

Responsibilities also include assisting in the supervision and support of staff with co-approvals, training, and meeting goals.  Will demonstrate compliance while providing friendly and professional service.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • High level of accuracy in all areas
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
