Branch Manager – Oregon City Branch
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for driving performance results in assigned branches through direction, leadership and execution of superior service behaviors and sales practices. Maintains a high level of quality service for members and ensures that employees are utilizing opportunities to educate members on products and services.
- Coordinates and reviews the work of assigned branch staff. Creates an encouraging work environment by coaching and mentoring employees weekly, or more frequently if required, to achieve their service and sales objectives, performance expectations, and individual or team goals.
- Regularly assesses employee skill levels, through observation and report tracking, to identify any factors interfering with achieving performance goals and provide feedback/support/coaching that builds on the employee strengths while providing opportunity for learning and growth.
- Objectively and consistently documents employee performance (coaching, notes, appraisals) in the performance management system
- Ensures employees receive ongoing service, technical skills and sales training, including timely completion of annual compliance training.
- Manages employees’ schedules and staff coverage, to ensure the daily branch operation runs efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for timely and accurate payroll submission, hiring decisions, promoting, transferring, corrective action and discharging of branch staff, while following company policy and with consultation from Human Resources.
- Assists in developing, administering, maintaining, and communicating general branch security protocol or requirements, and works with team to make necessary changes to security processes as needed.
- Follow all process and procedures outlined in Embold CU Lobby Management Procedures.
- Actively participates in community events, business development, and is a recognized partner in the community.

Other Expectations:
- This position is responsible for providing support to other departments/branches as needed. This could result in a temporary or permanent reassignment to another department/branch based on organizational needs.
- Consumer lending and Home Equity experience.
- Continual understanding, applied knowledge of, and adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting.
- Ongoing professional development – must complete the annual required courses and trainings; must meet expectations on Performance Evaluations and Behavioral Expectations.
- Must complete annual training on the SAFE ACT and meet testing requirements.
- This position requires NMLS registration at the time of employment. Embold Credit Union will initiate the NMLS registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) web site (http://fedregistry.nationwidelicensingsystem.org ) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.
Experience:
REQUIRED: Five (5) years of similar or related duties (as outlined in the essential functions), including time spent in similar or preparatory positions.
PREFERRED: Greater than five (5) years of similar or related duties.
Education:
REQUIRED: A high school degree or GED.
PREFERRED: A college degree.
Work Schedule
FULL-TIME – Exempt – 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM Monday thru Friday, with Saturdays (required) from 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM based on business needs.
Starting Pay Expectations:
Minimum of $87,231.33 annually to salary range midpoint of $91,822.45 annually. Placement will generally not exceed the midpoint based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
Those who are fluent in Spanish are eligible for a language differential pay of $100 a pay period.

This position is covered by the Oregon Equal Pay Act. Your salary is determined based on the experience listed in your resume that is directly related and equivalent to the position for which you are applying. It is strongly encouraged to include any transferable experience (paid or unpaid regardless of how recent) to ensure your offer is reflective of all your relevant experience
