Accounting Specialist

This position starts at a highly competitive rate of $24 – $26/hour.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be a critical part of our Accounting team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of a variety of transactions and processes. You will be reporting to the Controller and regularly working cross departmentally with the Lending and Operations teams. Your responsibilities include:
- Processing ACH, wire, and share draft transactions; balancing general ledgers
- Providing technical assistance to members and employees
- Assisting with plastic card functions; including processing and monitoring member requests and providing information and assistance regarding account status, requests, payments, etc.
This position is expected to work a hybrid office/remote schedule following the initial training period, with a minimum of two days per week on-site at the Erin Way branch location. QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of related experience processing member transactions in XP2
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgment, integrity, and accountability
WORK SCHEDULE
The work schedule is generally expected to be 7:30-4:30pm, M-F. This position has hybrid flexibility following the initial training period, with a minimum of two days per week on-site at the Erin Way branch location.
