BIOGRAPHY:

Sharon Grieger is the Chief Risk Officer at Vantage West Credit Union, a CDFI and one of Arizona’s largest credit unions. She held leadership roles at Walmart, Boeing, and PepsiCo before joining the Credit Union Movement in 2018. Her strong commitment to providing affordable and accessible financial services to the underserved led to her appointment to the CFPB CU Advisory Council where she offers the unique perspective of credit unions to better inform policy development and rulemaking. Sharon holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Arizona, a Master of Business Administration from Texas Southern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Auditing from DePaul University. She is a Certified Credit Union Development Educator, a Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert, and an African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) West Coast Chapter Officer.
