BIOGRAPHY:

Marshall Hayner is the Co-Founder and CEO of Metallicus, a leader in blockchain infrastructure for financial institutions and the core developer of The Digital Banking Network (TDBN), an open-source protocol with built-in digital identity and stablecoin support, designed for secure, compliant global transactions.

A crypto pioneer since 2009, Marshall built one of the first social Bitcoin wallets (QuickCoin), played an early role in Stellar’s development, and sits on the board of the Dogecoin Foundation.

At the center of his work is Metal Blockchain, a Layer 0 protocol built for banks, credit unions, and fintechs, with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance integrated from the base layer. While many have built individual tools, Marshall built the full stack in-house, wallets, identity, payments, stablecoins, tokenization, and fraud prevention, with compliance at the foundation, guided by a team of traditional finance executives. That work led Metallicus to become the only blockchain company certified as a provider for the Federal Reserve’s FedNow® service.

Marshall is focused on building real infrastructure where blockchain and regulated finance operate securely, side by side, and he’s a clear, compelling voice for press and public conversations on where the industry is going.
