BIOGRAPHY:

Kim, a member of Wespay’s Senior Leadership Team, is responsible for overseeing internal operations including member services, marketing and communications, finance, technology, vendor management, and personnel administration. She also plays a key role in shaping and implementing the organization’s strategy. Previously, Kim served on the Wespay Board of Directors and chaired the Marketing and Communications Committee, in addition to her contributions to the Corporate Credit Union Network Marketing Forum Committee. Her industry involvement includes participating in the Faster Payments Council’s Board of Directors and, since 2018, serving on Nacha’s Governmental Relations Advisory Group.

Kim began her career at First Interstate Bank. She later transitioned to Northwest Corporate Federal Credit Union where she was Chief Operating Officer before joining Wespay. During her 15 years at Northwest Corporate, she also held various roles in member services, business development, software development and marketing. Before moving to Wespay she held the position of Vice President of the Northwest Regional office for Catalyst Corporate FCU.

Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oregon. She serves as the Vice Chair at Rivermark Community Credit Union in Oregon City, Oregon, where she has been involved for nine years. Her experience also includes roles as treasurer and chair of various school-related clubs. Kim is a member of Associations West and has taught courses on different payment topics. Dedicated to advancing financial inclusion and wellness for all, she actively looks for ways to support the well-being of her community.
