BIOGRAPHY:

Jay Vancik has been a Federal Agent with the United States Secret Service for 20 years and is currently the Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Denver Field Office, where he oversees Financial Crimes Investigations, and Protective Operations for the District of Colorado.

Prior to the Denver Field Office, Mr. Vancik was the Assistant Attaché to the U.S. Embassy Paris, France, USSS Paris Field Office, where he was responsible for leveraging international relations with law enforcement executives throughout 67 Western Europe and African counties, enhancing the USSS core investigative and protective missions. He was the lead agent for 30+ protective visits throughout Europe and Africa, responsible for oversight of USSS strategic operational security coordination, administrative, logistical, personnel recovery and emergency response planning.

Previous assignments throughout his 20-year USSS career include, the Presidential Protective Division 2014-2017, Special Operations Division Counter Assault Team 2010-2014, and the Newark Field Office 2004-2010 where he has gained extensive experience in strategic security program development and high-profile financial crimes investigations requiring cross-functional collaboration.

Mr. Vancik holds a Master of Business Administration, from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Bachelor of Arts, University of Michigan and has completed numerous investigative certifications to include the Cyber Investigation Certificate Program, from Carnegie Mellon University.
