BIOGRAPHY:

Combining his 16 years as a financial services executive with his more than 10 years in consulting, Fred Cadena is a recognized expert in helping leading financial services brands identify and respond to disruptive events.

Fred was a pioneer in online trading as an early executive at optionsXpress where, as head of market risk and operations technology modernization, he helped disrupt traditional wealth management and investment models before eventually being disrupted by market and regulatory changes. Subsequently, Fred transitioned to consulting, holding leadership positions at prestigious firms including Accenture, Capgemini, and IBM. In these roles, he partnered with top financial institutions to identify and respond to industry disruptions, specializing in customer experience and digital transformation strategies.

A 13x Salesforce certified professional, Fred is a frequent presenter at industry events. He hosts the popular “Banking on Disruption” podcast, exploring trends in banking, financial services, and the Salesforce ecosystem. Fred is also co-host of the “Banker’s Book Club” podcast.
