Elizabeth Escobar

BIOGRAPHY:

Elizabeth Escobar, Express Credit Union’s Chief Business & Chief Lending Officer, has over 14 years of community development finance experience. Prior to joining Express Credit Union in 2011, she was a rural economic development volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps at a savings and lending cooperative in Paraguay. Prior to serving in her current role at the credit union, she worked to help build the ITIN lending program and became a Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) with the IRS.

Elizabeth drives results through empathy and collaboration and continually strives to push the organization to stay true to the mission and values of the CDFI. She is committed to showing up for the community and members and is continually looking for new solutions and services to make the lives of Express members easier and help save them money.  Elizabeth holds a B.S. in International Business and Economics from Westminster College. She is also a recent graduate of Western Credit Union Management School.
