Don Jones
BIOGRAPHY:
Don Jones has served banks, credit unions, businesses, and nonprofits for over 30 years as a banker and consultant. His career spans company ownership, lending, sales leadership, business banking, and operations. He most recently served as SVP, Regional Manager for a Northwest bank and now leads Invaluable People, a consulting firm committed to building a world of healthy workplaces where people are truly invaluable. Through this work, Don and his team help organizations align with their mission, transform their culture, and realize the fullest potential of their people and their company.
Don has served on the boards of more than 20 nonprofits, holding leadership roles with chambers of commerce, city commissions, hospital foundations, and a university foundation. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at George Fox University, teaching Financial Analysis & Modeling. Don received a Governor’s Award for his leadership in expanding access to competitive community sports, ensuring that youth from all backgrounds had the opportunity to participate and excel at the highest levels.
Known for the value he places on people and the energy, breadth, and depth he brings to every engagement, Don is preparing to defend his dissertation on his new model for building a learning organization as part of his Doctor of Business Administration. He is also writing a book exploring how work environments shape behavior, culture, and outcomes.
