Denny Heck

Denny Heck is humbled to serve as Washington’s 17th lieutenant governor. First elected in 2020, he brings a lifetime of experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to the office.  Previously, Lt. Gov. Heck served as a Washington state representative and the first U.S. representative from Washington’s 10th Congressional District. He has successfully grown several small businesses, one of which specializes in workplace education and expanded from two employees to more than 300. A strong advocate of open government, Lt. Gov. Heck co-founded TVW in 1993 to provide the people of Washington state greater accessibility to their Legislature.
