Bo McDonald

BIOGRAPHY:

Bo McDonald is the Founder and President of your marketing co., a strategy-first marketing and growth partner serving credit unions nationwide. His career began in radio, first as an on-air personality and later as the creative services director, where he discovered a passion for telling stories and creating advertising that helped local businesses grow. That passion led him to launch his first marketing agency in 2004, with a credit union as his very first client.

For Bo, the Credit Union Movement is more than a profession; it’s personal. He watched his father benefit from the support of a small hospital credit union during a difficult season of life before later serving on its supervisory committee and board of directors. Today, Bo follows in those footsteps, serving as vice chair of a small credit union after serving on both its supervisory committee and serving as board chair through a period of significant organizational change.

His passion is helping credit union leaders do so much good by seeing their organizations through a different lens — challenging assumptions, embracing curiosity, and building institutions that create lasting impact for generations to come.
