Collections & Loss Prevention Manager

Job Description:

A hands-on leadership role. This is a working manager position.
Join our Portland office and help protect the financial strength of our credit union while making a real impact in members’ lives. This role combines collections leadership, loss prevention, and hands-on member solutions in a purpose-driven organization serving Union Ironworkers and their families. We know our members. In this role, you’ll:

Personally work delinquent loans and accounts

Lead collections, loss prevention, and recovery efforts

Contact members and create realistic payment solutions

Manage repossessions, bankruptcies, charge-offs, and skip tracing

Identify high-risk activities and help prevent losses

Coach staff and improve procedures while remaining hands-on

We’re looking for:

Collections, loss prevention, lending, or credit experience

Leadership experience preferred

Credit union experience preferred

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Someone who takes ownership and follows through

A compassionate, accountable, can-do attitude
