BIOGRAPHY:
Jason Werts is an accomplished executive in the financial services industry, which includes more than twenty years of executive-level experience. He currently serves as the President and CEO of Rivermark Community Credit Union and is passionate about ensuring the credit union makes a meaningful and positive impact in the communities it serves. With the completion of the merger between Rivermark and Advantis credit unions, Jason has demonstrated a strong ability to develop high-performing teams by leveraging the organization’s culture, and potential, to ensure continued growth and relevancy. He is known for fostering inclusive and collaborative partnerships, and values working alongside talented individuals who bring thoughtful perspectives, and challenge and inspire him. Throughout his career, Jason has focused on delivering maximum value to credit union members. He is committed to creating innovative products and solutions that promote financial freedom and empowerment.
Jason holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts, and he has continued his education through industry-specific programs such as the Filene i3 program and Cardwell 306/2 Leadership program. In addition to his professional achievements, Jason remains actively engaged in the industry and the community. He serves on the GoWest Credit Union Association’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Oregon Governmental Affairs Committee.
Jason also contributes to the community through his service on the Clackamas Community College Foundation Board, the State of Oregon Treasury Department’s Audit Committee, and Give an Hour, a non-profit focused on social impact through responsible and scalable mental health programs that are more accessible to the most vulnerable populations in our communities.
