Biography

Melissa has been with Blue Federal Credit Union since 2005 and proudly serves as Chief People Officer, leading the strategic vision for how Blue supports, develops, and connects its people to the mission and purpose of the credit union. Throughout her career, she has played an integral role in shaping a culture rooted in authenticity, growth, service, and care, one where team members are encouraged to bring their full selves to work, feel deeply connected to the “why” behind their work, and build meaningful, fulfilling careers.

She holds a master’s degree in communication and leadership, is a Stagen Leadership Academy ILP Graduate, and oversees human resources, learning and development, culture, and member experience. Her work is focused on coaching leaders, strengthening connections across the organization, delivering service that creates moments that matter, and cultivating environments where people—and, in turn, communities—can truly thrive.

Melissa believes that when people feel supported and inspired, they create something greater together. Her personal purpose is simple: to make a difference for at least one person every day. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys baking as a creative outlet and spending time with her husband cheering on the University of Wyoming Cowboys, golfing, and scuba diving.
