Michele Beehler
Biography
Michele Beehler serves as Chief People Officer at P1FCU, where she leads Human Resources, Training and Development, Culture/Member Experience, and Community Development. Since relocating to Lewiston, Idaho, in 2010, Michele has been a driving force behind initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and community connection.
With a background spanning the electrical engineering and healthcare industries, Michele previously held the role of Senior HR Director of Total Rewards. She brings deep expertise in global benefits strategy and leave management and is recognized for her ability to align people practices with organizational growth.
Michele earned her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Purdue University and holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Beyond her professional role, Michele is deeply committed to community service. She serves on the Tri State Health Foundation Board and the executive team of the Tri State Health Memorial Hospital Board. Her thought leadership has been featured on panels hosted by the Association of Washington Business (AWB), U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA), and the NW ESOP Association. In 2024, she was invited to testify before the U.S. House Education and Workforce Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions, advocating for employer-driven healthcare innovation.
Michele was honored as one of the Top 50 Business Women of the Year by the Idaho Business Review in 2024. She previously served nine years on the executive board of All Saints Catholic School in Lewiston and was appointed to Washington State’s Child Care Collaborative Task Force.
