Biography

Gabo Quintero serves as the Financial Institutions Bureau Chief at the Idaho Department of Finance (IDOF), where he leads a team of financial examiners responsible for the regulatory oversight of Idaho state-chartered credit unions, banks, and trust companies. Gabo has served in various roles throughout his tenure at IDOF, including Bank Section Supervisor, Training Coordinator, Financial Institutions Bureau Analyst, and Financial Institutions Examiner. Before entering public service, he held positions at WaFd Bank and Bank of America.

Gabo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business and Finance from Boise State University and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
