BIOGRAPHY:

Connie Miller is the CEO of Credible Advantage, a leadership and board development consulting business. Prior to Connie’s recent retirement from the credit union industry in 2021, she served as the President and CEO of Icon Credit Union, a credit union with $370m in assets. Under her leadership, Icon was ranked 7th among 5,400 credit unions as one of the healthiest credit unions in the country and received numerous Best Places to Work and community awards. Connie also served one year as Regional President at Horizon Credit Union in 2021 before the merger of these two credit unions.

Connie is an author and enjoys sharing her insight on building a strong culture and executive leadership through her book, “Don’t Sabotage Your Career.”

Connie was honored as one of Idaho’s CEO of Influence, Woman of the Year, and Excellence in Finance for her leadership, integrity, vision, diversity, and influence. She was also awarded the Meridian Chamber of Commerce’s Woman of the Year in 2024 and Business Leader of the Year in 2021. Credible Advantage was recognized by the Idaho Business Review as a 2025 Empowering Women honoree.

Connie is a seasoned executive coach, author, trainer, and speaker who works with credit union boards on strategic planning and building high-functioning teams. She specializes in leadership development, trust and accountability, effective meetings, board-CEO relationships, and strategic thinking. With experience serving on more than 20 boards and committees — including the Federal Reserve Bank Community Council, Girl Scouts, St. Alphonsus Hospital Finance Committee, and the College of Western Idaho Foundation — Connie brings deep expertise in board development and governance.

Connie is currently a strategic partner with GoWest Credit Union Association, a Nonprofit for Excellence partner with the Idaho Partners For Good, and a strategic consulting partner with the Idaho State CPA Association. Her passion is in helping credit unions thrive with strong leaders and effective board development tools.
