Connie Miller
BIOGRAPHY:
Connie Miller is the CEO of Credible Advantage, a leadership and board development consulting firm focused on executive coaching, leadership development, board effectiveness, culture, communication, accountability, and personal brand. Connie brings the perspective of a former CEO, board member, author, speaker, and executive coach who has spent her career helping leaders build trust, strengthen credibility, and lead with greater clarity and courage.
Before launching Credible Advantage, Connie served as President/CEO of Icon Credit Union, a $370 million financial institution. Under her leadership, Icon was recognized as one of the healthiest credit unions in the country, ranking 7th among more than 5,400 credit unions, and earned multiple Best Places to Work and community awards. She later served as Regional President for Horizon Credit Union during the merger of the two organizations.
Connie’s coaching approach is practical, candid, and supportive. She helps leaders understand how they are experienced by others, identify blind spots, strengthen executive presence, improve communication, build trust and accountability, and make strong strategic leadership decisions. Her work often includes 360 feedback, Clifton Strengths Finder coaching and other leadership assessments, confidential coaching conversations, and action plans designed to help leaders grow in ways that are both personally meaningful and valuable to the organization.
Connie is the author of Don’t Sabotage Your Career, a leadership and professional development book focused on helping professionals recognize behaviors that may unintentionally limit their credibility, influence, and advancement. She is also a keynote speaker, facilitator, and trainer known for bringing warmth, directness, business experience, and practical tools to leadership conversations.
Connie has served on more than 20 boards and board committees, including roles with the Federal Reserve Bank Community Financial Institution Council, Girl Scouts, St. Alphonsus Hospital Finance Committee, Junior Achievement, and the College of Western Idaho Foundation. Her governance and executive experience give her a strong understanding of the pressures leaders face when balancing people, performance, culture, board expectations, and organizational results. Her leadership and community impact have been recognized through honors including Idaho CEO of Influence, Idaho Business Review Woman of the Year, Excellence in Finance, Meridian Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year, Meridian Chamber Business Leader of the Year, and Credible Advantage’s recognition as an Idaho Business Review Empowering Women honoree.
